News about Xiaomi’s Redmi Note has been buyers favourite since its release and it is about time the handset gets updated and Xiaomi is not in haste to get the smartphone updated.
Today, we got updates about the upcoming Redmi Note 2 which was spotted in a series of pictures from China.
While the photo about speaks for itself, the photo below shows a box where the MIUI-powered smartphone will be sold in after its released tomorrow.
The Note 2 is coming with a 5.5-inch 1080p display — up from the 5.5 720p found on its predecessor. The smartphone will feature a 16GB non-expandable storage and we keep wondering how many pictures it can contain from the 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie front camera.
Talking about battery and OS, the smartphone will feature a 3100mAh battery cell while weighing a total of 159 grams. The device will measure 8.05mm thin and will be running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS skinned with MIUI 7, Xiaomi’s proprietary user interface that will be released tomorrow too.
