With Xiaomi coming out with top-range smartphones this year — with the introduction of the likes of Xiaomi Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Mi 4i — It is very hard to accept that the Chinese tech company is yet to out a product from their flagship lineup this year.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 was launched in July 2014 and it is glaring, a successor for the 5″ handset is now overdue since the month of July 2015 is already running out.
Xiaomi fans should worry no more as we just got pointers that their highly anticipated flagship is on its way.
Today, we stumbled upon the Xiaomi Mi 5 on camera courtesy of MobileDad. From what we saw, it shows the the upcoming flagship doesn’t have anything to do with side bezels, the side bezelz are completely hidden by the technology.
The smartphone is boxed up in a rectangular metal body with a curved edge. There is no button on the phone although it is below the screen.
Speaking about the specs, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is featuring a 5-inch Quad HD display, a 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. According to the picture, there will be a USB type-C connector as well as a regular microUSB port under the phone but we can’t say for sure.
The phone would be launch on August 16, 2015. So stay tuned
