Top Chinese phone producer Xiaomi is renovating its popular Redmi 2 smartphone for a relaunch into the market. Calling the revamped one which comes with an upgraded RAM and storage, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime. To cut the tales short, the smartphone is similar to the beefed up Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro that was released in China not long ago.
The original Xiaomi Redmi 2 had 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage but the revamped Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime will be coming with a 4.7-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, dual SIM slot and 2,200mAh battery. The mobile phone will get backed by an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front facing cameras for taking photos.
The Redmi 2 Prime is already on Amazon India without a price tag. The listing has since been pulled down from the e-commerce website.
