Chinese phone maker UMI has finally released their high-end smartphone and the smartphone is available in Nigeria already being the most populated African country also boasts of one of the largest and fastest growing smartphone markets on the continent and this phenomenon seems to have aroused the interest of foreign brands towards the country lately.
The smartphone comes with a sleek metallic design that measures 152.3 x 76.5 x 7.9 mm and tips the scale at 148 grams, comes with an ample 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen display which has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, summing to a PPI figure of 401.
Talking about software, the smartphone runs on the all-new Android 5.1 Lollipop platform. Assisted by a dual tone LED flash, a 13-megapixel back camera and 8-megapixel front shooter which you can use to take selfies anyhow you want.
UMI Iron comes with a dual SIM card slot and packs support for 2G, 3G and LTE networks. The mobile phone is powered by an octa-core 1.7GHz 64-bit CPU and Mali-T760MP2 graphics alongside a MediaTek MT6753 SoC and 3GB of RAM. The handset is preloaded with 16GB of in-built storage which can further be expanded via the microSD card slot. Finally, the device is backed by a 3180mAh battery.
