Twitter might seems to look different from what you have been seeing and some people have not noticed. The company has revomed wallpapers from users’ profile, a big sorry to those who has tried all their effort just to personalize their profile because the company is removing background images and its going to be having a neutral light blue shade.
While speaking to Mashable, Twitter stated: “We’re removing background images from the home and notifications timelines on web for all users. Now, background images are only available where logged-in users will see them publicly (Tweet pages, list pages and collections pages). You can find help center content about customizing your design and where it’s visible on Twitter”
While twitter has taken away the authority he gave to users to change their background, users will still be able to change display picture, header photo and theme colors. Why the company would want to restrict users to a stark white background we are yet to know, however, rumor has it that the company might be treading down the path of MySpace; who once made a similar move.
While most users were infuriated at the changes that have been made to their account and on Twitter in general, some were glad that the much needed change was finally being implemented.
