Samsung Electronics has officially released Samsung Galaxy J2 was announced in Bangalore, India on Friday.
The Galaxy J2 feature the same features just like Galaxy J1 but it also features a slightly bettered spec sheet. The new smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch 540 x 960 pixels touchscreen — with Super AMOLED technology, 1GB of RAM and a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor.
Talking about its camera, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear shooter and a 2-megapixel secondary camera at the front. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and sports a dual SIM slot, 2,000mAh battery unit and Ultra Data Saving Mode for data compression while browsing the Internet.
The phone will be available in the market starting from September 21st at INR 8,490 (roughly $125).
VP of marketing at Samsung India, Mr. Asim Warsi, said, “Samsung Galaxy J2, our entry level smart phone, has been specially made keeping in mind the Indian consumer’s sensibilities to make 4G accessible and relevant for all.
“The Galaxy J2 reinforces our commitment to ‘Make for India’. Ultra Data Saving Mode, which is the key feature in the device, has been developed at our Indian R&D facilities to deliver the most cost efficient 4G device.”
