Chinese phone maker OnePlus is allegedly working on another smartphone which will be launched by October. Allegedly named OnePlus X, the upcoming smartphone is believed to be sold at $249, according to Gizmochina.
The source claims that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will come with a 5-inch display and the engine will be powered by a 32 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. Have it at the back of your mind that the OnePlus 2 was released back in August sporting a 5.5-inch display and 64 bit-based Snapdragon 810 processor so judging by the information in our hand, we can reliably tell you that the X is not a successor to the OnePlus 2.
Alleged CAD photos of the upcoming OnePlus X were displayed within the report showing off a device with supposedly dual rear facing camera sensors as well as dual camera flash modules. The device also appears to be sporting a fingerprint scanner at the back while the front side is void of a hardware home key unlike the OnePlus 2 and this indicates on-screen control buttons on the phone.
Finally, the X is said to be packing a microUSB type-C reversible connector and bottom-facing stereo speaker unit (this is evident from the pictures). The smartphone is having an October launch date but our confidant wouldn’t be precise on the date.
