MTN Nigeria Introduced Free Incoming Calls to it Subscribers in 15 Countries


MTN Nigeria has introduced a free incoming calls offer to it subscribers whenever they roam or travels outside the country.

This development will allows any MTN subscribers who travels outside Nigeria to any of the specified countries like United States, United Kingdom, Malaysia, South Africa, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kenya and Ghana, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Netherlands and Belgium to receives incoming calls for free.

mtnThe General Manager of Consumer Marketing at MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, who made the announcement said the offer is confirmation commitment by MTN to it loyal subscribers. He further stated that the service requires no registration as the customers’ MTN SIM connects when they switch on their phones at any selected destinations, if they have phones and gadgets that allow roaming.

To benefit from the offering, he said MTN customers were expected to recharge with a minimum of N2000 (cumulatively or as a single recharge) within the same month of travel or spend N2000 or more the previous month before travelling. Post-paid customers, who have a credit limit of N2, 000 and above, will automatically enjoy the offer.

While the new package will afford subscribers on the MTN network an opportunity to enjoy free incoming calls and SMS in 15 selected countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, subscribers will also be able to make calls for as low as N60 per minute whenever they are in these selected countries.
