Unconfirmed but viral report has it that Microsoft is planning to feature an iris scanner on their yet to announced Lumia 940XL.
Just over a month after there were reports that Microsoft is planning to introduce two high-end Lumia devices – codenamed Talkman and Cityman, according to leakster @evleaks. The highly regarded serial leaker sent out a tweet today confirming that an iris scanner will be employed on the Cityman. This model is believed to be the Microsoft Lumia 940XL, while the Talkman is expected to be the Microsoft Lumia 940.
Specs-wise, the device is said to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset with octa-core CPU, and sport a 5.7-inch QHD display. It is expected to come with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage, and pack in a 3,300 mAh removable battery.
In terms of camera, the Lumia 940XL is said to feature a 20MP rear unit and a 5 MP front shooter. It is expected to run Windows 10 out of the box.
