Huawei has launched an over-sized smartphone aka phablet named as the Huawei G8. The mobile phone equipped with a fingerprint sensor succeeds last year’s Huawei Ascend G7 which was one of the last few “Ascend” devices produced before the naming pattern was shelved earlier this year.
The new Huawei G8 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS floating the software department, it also comes with a non-user-removable aluminum steel cover which houses a 3000 mAh battery.
You will also find a 64-bit octa-core based Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 GPU alongside a 64GB microSD card slot that can be accessed via the side of the phone.
The RAM and storage configuration tells alot about the phone’s pricing as the 16GB model with 2GB RAM goes for, or more accurately, has a suggested retail price of $370 while the 32GB storage version with 3GB of RAM will set you back at least $434. Availability of the handset comes in either white, black and gold.
