To make the design of its flagship “One” series perfect even while at a midrange level, HTC released the Desire 626 smartphone sometime last month.
The HTC Desire 626 doesn’t only look like the HTC One M9, it also comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers and on-screen navigation buttons just like the latter just like the M9 Flagship. The difference in the casing material is that the new HTC Desire 626 is made of plastice instead of aluminum.
Popular US carrier Verizon has started selling the Desire 626 on retail for $192. They are selling an unlocked version of the smartphone. If you want to use the installment plan, you will be paying $8 every month for 2 years to have the device.
The HTC Desire 626 sports a 5-inch 720p display, LTE, nano SIM slot, 1.1GHz quad-core USA-made Snapdragon 210 chipset, 1.5GB RAM, 200GB microSD card slot, an 8MP camera and 2000mAh battery.
