The new Pebble software update comes as great news to Pebble users. Guess what… It is now possible to make voice message replies right from your smart watch. Communicating with messages has never been this easy, thanks to the new Pebble Software update.
However, there is a little problem. Only apple watch users have the privilege of using the Pebble Software Update. This is simply because the update is designed for iOS and not any other operating system. All the same, it is hoped that an update for other Operating Systems will be introduced soon.
There are important things that you should know about this new update and how it is used. First, you must understand that the software works only for AT&T wireless users only. In addition, the said users must be subscribed to a postpaid plan. Secondly, all messages are used in iMessage format despite being sent as text messages. Thirdly, the Pebble software does not support group message threads. Only two parties can participate in a conversation.
Here are the steps that you should follow when setting up your new Pebble software for your iOS smart watch:
First, you must ensure that you have transited from the old Pebble software to the latest one. Only then will you be able to enjoy the new voice text feature.
Trace the menu drawer on the screen and open it. There, you will come across different settings including those directed to the Pebble new voice feature. One of the options that you will come across is ‘Text Replies’. Tap on the setting to open. You will then get a button labeled ‘continue’. Tap on it.
Once you have selected ‘Continue’, you will be presented with a list of Pebbles terms. You will have to accept the terms and then provide your app access contacts in order to move forward.
The next step is to verify your newly created account. Upon agreeing to the terms and conditions of Pebble software, you will be presented with a ‘verify’ option right at the top of the screen. Once you click on ‘Verify’, a message window will display. In this case, the text field will be filled including the recipient’s details. All you need is to tap the send button in order to verify.
Once you have sent the verification message, you will have to wait for a minute or two in order to get a feedback. Sometime it might take just a few seconds for a feedback to show up. Once everything has been processed, Pebble software will present you with a confirmation screen. This is an indication that you have successfully gone through the verification process and the app is ready for use.
Note: Make sure that all the requested details in the confirmation process are correct. There has to be a match with your details for the Pebble software to work for you.
