Some social media applications are going to be banned in United Kingdom soon, apps to be banned are iMesssage, Whatsapp, Facebook and Snapchat. The plans to banned the apps was announced by UK Prime Minister, David Cameron.
The apps mentioned above are quite popular in the UK, and millions of people are utilizing them to communicate with each other. A new legislation is being considered by the UK Prime Minister, and if passed, could lead to the ban of these online messaging apps.
According to Express.co.uk, David Cameron plans “to stop people from sending any form of encrypted messages.” People might not want it to happen, but the UK government can take any step for the safety of its people.
“In our country, do we want to allow a means of communication between people which we cannot read? My answer to that question is: ‘No, we must not’, but the question we must ask ourselves is whether, as technology develops, we are content to leave a safe space – a new means of communication – for terrorists to communicate with each other.” David Cameron said.
