Social networking giant, Facebook is considering introducing the “dislike button”.
According to Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg who said the social network will add a Dislike button as a companion to the iconic Like button during a town hall meeting on Tuesday at the company’s California headquarters. The request should further compliment the long requests by members for the features to be added.
“People have asked about the ‘dislike’ button for many years, and probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it,” Zuckerberg said
He also said Facebook is working with educators and local leaders around its offices in the San Francisco Bay Area to help bring new technologies to schools, and potentially even affordable housing as well. “To be a responsible member of the community, we need to contribute to the housing stock,” he said. “Over next decade, expect more.”
