While there are loads of tech news online about the newly launched Windows 10, there are still many things users who ignored Windows 8 don’t know about. Today we bring to you Windows 10’s power and battery settings.
One of the easiest way to locate the settings is to open the Action Center and click on “All Settings”
Go to setting then click the “System” which contains the display, notifications, apps and power
We are going to visit one category, which is the one that apply to users without consideration of whatsoever they are using on a PC. These are the “Power and Sleep” settings. This setting concerns when your PC screen turns off when you are using it unplugged or when you plug it.
You will find “Related settings” at the bottom of the “Power & sleep” with a link to access “Additional power settings”.
The “Additional power settings” will open the “Power Options” control panel. If you are use to Windows 8 you will know what we are talking about.
Using this setting will surely let your battery last longer because your PC will go into low power consumption mode.
