If you already have a BlackBerry Passport and you feel it is not cool enough for you, now is the time for you to patch it up with the newly released BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition. The smartphone is now on sale at Amazon at the e-retailer says it will start shipping on Monday August 10.
With the money being the most important thing people think of when shopping most products these days, it’s interesting to note that the Silver Edition costs $50 less than its predecessor. The BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is being sold for $549 on Amazon and it’s definitely a good flagship buy for corporate individuals and executives at that rate.
For the records, the BlackBerry Operating System 10-powered smartphone features a 4.5-inch 1440 x 1440 pixels touchscreen, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, 5-megapixel front facer, and adequate 3,450mAh battery.
Amazon says it’s only offering the GSM variant of the handset for now:
Unlocked cell phones are compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile as well as with GSM SIM cards (e.g. H20, Straight Talk, and select prepaid carriers). Unlocked cell phones will not work with CDMA Carriers like Sprint, Verizon, Boost or Virgin.
